無想天（樓炭經云無人想）以禪樂為食。壽五百劫。或有減者。猶色界數。光明勝於果實。外道謂為涅槃（出長阿含經第二十卷依品云滅想生無想唯有色陰行陰少入生想便死）。

Asaṃjñasattva heaven (the Loutan jing calls it 'No-Human-Perception'). They take the joy of dhyāna as their food. Their lifespan is five hundred kalpas, though some live less, still counted within the rūpadhātu. Their radiance surpasses that of Phalaphala. Heterodox practitioners mistake it for nirvāṇa (from the twentieth fascicle of the Dīrgha Āgama; the *Vibhāṣā* chapter says: 'Destroying perceptions, they are born into non-perception, possessing only the form aggregate and the mental formations aggregate; once a slight perception enters and arises, they then die.').
