無熱天。身長四千由旬。細軟委地不能自立。若下見佛變為麁形。以禪為味。天壽二千劫。或有減者。光明勝於不煩（出長阿含經第二十卷）。

Atapa heaven. Their bodies are four thousand yojanas tall, so fine and supple that they trail on the ground, unable to stand on their own. When descending to see the Buddha, they transform into coarse forms. They take dhyāna as their nourishment. The heavenly lifespan is two thousand kalpas, though some live less. Their radiance surpasses that of Avṛha (from the twentieth fascicle of the Dīrgha Āgama).
