迦葉結法藏竟。入鷄足山。破為三分。於中鋪草布地。即自思惟。而語身言。如來昔以糞掃衣。覆蔽於汝。乃至為彌勒法藏應住於此。因說偈言。
Kāśyapa, having compiled the Dharma Piṭaka, entered Mount Kukkuṭapāda, which split into three parts. Spreading grass on the ground inside, he reflected and said to his body: 'In the past, the Tathāgata covered you with his robe of rags. You must remain here until Maitreya's Dharma Piṭaka.' He then spoke a verse:
