時諸比丘歎未曾有。大目揵連說此偈時。六十比丘因此漏盡意解（出增一阿含經第二十七卷）。

Then the monks praised it as unprecedented. When Mahāmaudgalyāyana spoke this verse, sixty monks attained the exhaustion of outflows and liberation of mind thereby (from the twenty-seventh fascicle of the *Ekottarika-āgama*).
