先得至此岸　已渡生死海
疾流不能漂　是名正智者（出僧祇律第六卷）

'He who first reaches this shore, / has already crossed the ocean of birth and death; / the swift current cannot sweep him away— / he is called one of right wisdom.' (from the sixth fascicle of the *Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya*)
