19.48

佛言。時二人者。則是今日二摩訶羅也。時驢者。今摩訶羅兒也。已曾相欺心婆羅門居士苦惱捨財（出僧祇律第七卷）。

The Buddha said: "The two men of that time were indeed the two mahallas of today. The donkey of that time was the mahalla's son of today. Having once deceived one another, the brāhmaṇa householder suffered anguish and gave up his wealth." (Drawn from the Mahāsāṃghika Vinaya, fascicle 7.)
