2.30

天子叉手便作是言。世尊一切智。徹視見觀。願見救濟。我今歸命佛歸命法歸命比丘僧。遂不處䐗胎。生羅閱祇城第一長者家。見便歡喜不能自勝（出增一阿含第十九卷）。

The devaputra clasped his hands and said: ‘The Bhagavat is omniscient, perceiving and seeing through all; may he save me! I now take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the Dharma, and take refuge in the saṃgha of bhikṣus.’ Consequently, he did not enter the womb of a pig, but was born into the foremost elder's house in Rājagṛha; when they saw him, their joy was boundless.
