選擇遇佛善誘捨於愛欲得第三果一
須陀洹婦病於從事一悟得第三果二
比丘自誓入定經時既久出定便死三
比丘坐禪為毒蛇所害生天見佛得道四
比丘遮國王著巾屣禮佛聽法五
比丘修不淨觀得須陀洹道六
盲比丘倩人袵聞法得道七
三藏比丘著弊服常飢好衣得食八
族姓子出家佛為欲愛證賢聖明法九
旃陀羅七子為王逼殺失命十

1. Xuanze meets the Buddha's skilful guidance, renounces lustful desire, and attains the third fruit.
2. The wife of a srotāpanna falls ill through sexual intercourse, has a single awakening, and attains the third fruit.
3. A monk takes a vow, enters concentration for a long time, and dies upon emerging from concentration.
4. A monk sitting in meditation is harmed by a venomous snake, is born in heaven, sees the Buddha, and attains the Way.
5. A monk stops a king wearing a turban and shoes from paying homage to the Buddha and listening to the Dharma.
6. A monk cultivates the contemplation of impurity and attains the path of a srotāpanna.
7. A blind monk asks someone to sew his garment, hears the Dharma, and attains the Way.
8. A Tripiṭaka monk wearing worn-out robes is constantly hungry, but wearing fine clothes he receives food.
9. A youth of noble family leaves home, and the Buddha, on account of lustful love, demonstrates the clear Dharma of the noble ones.
10. Seven sons of a caṇḍāla are forced by a king into execution and lose their lives.
