心為法本　心尊心使　中心念惡
即言即行　罪苦自追　車轢于轍

即言即行　福樂自追　如影隨形

The mind is the source of phenomena; / The mind is foremost, the mind commands. / If within one harbours evil, / And speaks or acts accordingly, / Sin and suffering follow of themselves, / As the cart crushes in the rut. / The mind is the source of phenomena; / The mind is foremost, the mind commands. / If within one harbours good, / And speaks or acts accordingly, / Blessing and joy follow of themselves, / Just as a shadow follows the form.
