常行於慈心　除去恚害想
大悲愍眾生　矜傷為雨淚
修行大喜心　同己所得法
擁護以道意　乃應菩薩行

"Constantly practice with a mind of loving-kindness, / Eliminating thoughts of anger and harm; / With great compassion pity sentient beings, / Grieving for them with raining tears; / Cultivate a mind of great sympathetic joy, / Equal to the Dharma one has oneself attained; / Protect them with the aspiration for the Way— / Only then does one accord with the bodhisattva practice."
