今此說偈 及聞鼓琴 似是我子
鳩那羅聲 若是其至 何不見我
"Now this recitation of verse / and the sound of playing the lute / resemble the voice of my son, Kuṇāla. / If it is he who has arrived, / why does he not come see me?"
