未見日光時　燭火獨為明
本見事諸烏　水飲及果瓜
美音既具足　如日出樹間
諸烏失供養　見事見尊卑

"Before seeing the light of the sun, / The fire of a torch alone shines bright. / Formerly we saw all serving the crows / With water, food, fruits, and melons; / But now that the beautiful voice is fully present, / Like the sun rising amidst the trees, / The crows lose their offerings: / Seeing how they are treated reveals the high and the low."
