40.11

破愛憍慢心　能滅欲怒癡
第一光相足　惟佛照我心
昔我所求願　今日得見佛
今散五莖花　願得不退轉
餘二非我華　王女寄上佛
無上大導師　見愍蹈我髮

"Destroying love and arrogance of mind, / Capable of extinguishing desire, anger, and delusion, / Foremost, complete in glorious marks— / May the Buddha alone illumine my mind. / The vow I sought in the past, / Today I attain seeing the Buddha. / Now I scatter five stalks of flowers, / Vowing to attain non-retrogression. / The other two are not my flowers; / A king's daughter entrusted them to offer to the Buddha. / Supreme, Great Guide, / Have pity and step upon my hair."
