虎與師子驗事實已。共捉野干破作二分（出十誦律二誦第三分又出四第九分文同又出彌沙塞律第六卷又出野干兩舌經略同）。

When the tiger and lion had verified the facts, they seized the jackal together and tore it into two halves. (Extracted from the third part of the second recitation of the Sarvāstivāda Vinaya; also occurs in the ninth part of the fourth recitation with identical text; also occurs in the sixth fascicle of the Mahīśāsaka Vinaya; also occurs in the Sūtra of the Two-Tongued Jackal with roughly the same text.)
