47.55

馬王名婆羅醯。宮殿住在大海洲內明月山。有八千馬以為眷屬。若轉輪聖王出世。取最小者以為馬寶。給王乘御（出增一阿含經）。

The horse king was named Valāhaka (Boluoxi). His palace was situated on Bright Moon Mountain on an island in the great ocean. He had eight thousand horses as his retinue. When a wheel-turning sage king appears in the world, the smallest among them is taken to be the horse jewel to serve as the king's mount. (Extracted from the Ekottarika-āgama.)
