48.11

千秋。人面鳥身。生子還害其母。復學得羅漢果。畜生無有是智及有尊卑想。不受五逆罪（出婆須蜜經第八卷）。

The qianqiu has a human face and a bird's body. When it gives birth to offspring, they in turn harm their mother. Furthermore, if it practices, it can attain the fruit of an arhat. Animals do not possess such wisdom or the conception of superior and inferior, so they do not incur the guilt of the five heinous crimes (taken from the Posumituo jing, Fascicle 8).
