6.18

佛至月氏國。西降女羅剎。時宿石窟中。于今佛影猶在。有人就內看之。則不能見。出孔則光相如佛。有時飛到罽賓國隸跋陀仙人山上。住虛空中。降此仙人。仙人言。我樂住此。願佛與我髮爪起塔供養。塔今現在此山下。有離越寺。離越應云隸跋陀（出大智度第十二卷）。

When the Buddha reached the Yuezhi kingdom, he subdued a female rākṣasa in the west. At that time he stayed overnight in a stone cave, and to this day the Buddha's shadow remains there. If someone goes inside to look at it, they cannot see it; but upon exiting the aperture, the luminous marks are like those of the Buddha. At times it flew to the mountain of the ṛṣi Revata in the kingdom of Kaśmīra, hovering in the sky to subdue this ṛṣi. The ṛṣi said: 'I delight in dwelling here. May the Buddha grant me hair and nails to build a stūpa and make offerings.' The stūpa still exists today beneath this mountain, where there is the monastery of Liyue; 'Liyue' should be Revata.
