時波斯匿王聞優填王作如來像而供養之。復召工巧以紫磨金鑄如來像。高於五尺。時閻浮提內始有二像（出增一阿含第十九卷）。

At that time, King Prasenajit heard that King Udayana had made an image of the Tathāgata and made offerings to it. He again summoned skilled craftsmen to cast an image of the Tathāgata out of purple-shining gold, taller than five feet. At that time, within Jambudvīpa, there were for the first time two images.
