8.22

我聞此語身心清涼諸根寂靜自然調伏。誦習在心思惟其義洞達斯旨。即獲神通飛還本國遍宣此偈。以此功德我於佛法得堅固信不可沮壞。眾魔啟伏一切歸化。未有此信我常在生死。為眾生故開示此信令得奉行（出菩薩決定要行第一卷）。

Hearing these words, my body and mind became cool, my faculties tranquil, naturally subdued. Reciting and retaining it in my mind, reflecting on its meaning, I penetrated this purport. Immediately I attained supernormal faculties, flew back to my native country, and widely proclaimed this verse. By this merit, I gained firm faith in the Buddha's Dharma, indestructible. The hosts of Māra submitted, and all were transformed and took refuge. Before having this faith, I was constantly in saṃsāra. For the sake of sentient beings, I revealed this faith, enabling them to practice it' (Extracted from the Pusa jueding yaoxing, fascicle 1).
