There was a monk who recited the Amitābha Buddha Sūtra and the Mahāprajñāpāramitā. When he was about to die, he said to his disciples: "Amitābha Buddha has come together with his great assembly." He moved his body, took refuge, and in a moment his life ended. After his death, his disciples cremated him. The next day, when they gathered the ashes, they saw that his tongue had not been burned. (Extracted from the ninth fascicle of the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa).
