22.6

The Buddha spoke this, and the infant boys, upon seeing the Buddha, bounded up into the size of eight-year-old boys. They immediately became śramaṇeras and attained the Way of arhatship. All the villagers, young and old, saw the Buddha’s light and marks, and also saw the boys’ forms transform and leap into larger size; they were all overjoyed and attained the Way of srotāpanna. The parents’ doubts were dissolved, and they also attained the Dharma eye. (Extracted from the first fascicle of the Dharmapada Sūtra).
