32.13

The crown prince thereupon abandoned the kingdom and gave up the throne, concerning himself no longer with human affairs. With a single mind he concentrated exclusively, contemplating the Path, cultivating virtue, and accumulating meritorious deeds until reaching the present day. Mūkapakkha was myself; the father king was Śuddhodana; the mother was Māyā; the physiognomist was Devadatta; and the servants who attended at that time were the five men including Ājñāta-Kauṇḍinya. (Extracted from the Sūtra on Crown Prince Mūkapakkha).
