一不老。二至竟無病。三不死。四不別。神仙五通雖住一劫不離於死。王聞重悲。斯四願者。古今無獲。誰能除此。

“First, not to grow old; second, to the very end never to be sick; third, not to die; fourth, never to be separated. Though immortals endowed with the five superknowledges may live for a kalpa, they cannot escape death.” When the king heard this, his sorrow deepened: “These four wishes have never been attained from antiquity to the present; who could remove these?”
