蘆蕉城易犯　危藤復將齧
一隨柯已微　當半信長訣
已同白駒去　復同紅華熱
妍容一旦罷　孤燈徒自設

A city of reeds and plantains is easily breached;
a perilous vine is again about to be gnawed.
Once following the branch, it is already frail;
approaching mid-life, one must believe in the long farewell.
Already gone like a white colt passing,
and burning like a red blossom in heat:
once lovely looks have ceased,
in vain the solitary lamp is set.
