大王當知。彼須彌山下有阿修羅。然其兄弟各為貪欲愛一玉女。二人相爭而自鬪戰。傷害俱死。便說偈言。
"Great King, you should know: Beneath Mount Sumeru there were asuras; two brothers, through greed and desire, both loved the same jade maiden. The two fought with each other, wounded one another, and both died." He then spoke a gāthā:
