12.15

於是繞棺七匝阿難西北角。難陀於東北角。諸天在後。直北去雙樹四十九步。大迦葉手執火然香薪。又雜阿含經云。佛涅槃已。雙樹生華垂下供養。阿難說偈云。

Thereupon they circumambulated the coffin seven times, with Ānanda at the northwest corner, Nanda at the northeast corner, and the gods following behind. Directly north, forty-nine paces away from the twin trees, Mahākāśyapa held fire in his hand to ignite the fragrant firewood. Furthermore, the Saṃyukta-āgama says: After the Buddha entered nirvāṇa, the twin trees bore flowers that hung down in offering. Ānanda spoke a verse, saying:
