16.23

寧受一切苦　得聞佛音聲
不受一切樂　而不聞佛名
所以無量劫　受此諸苦惱
流轉生死中　不聞佛名故

"I would rather endure all sufferings / and get to hear the Buddha's voice, / than receive all pleasures / and not hear the Buddha's name. / The reason that for immeasurable kalpas / one endures all these sufferings and afflictions, / drifting in birth and death, / is because one did not hear the Buddha's name."
