17.54

又華嚴經云。善男子。假使有人以大海等墨須彌聚筆。書寫此經一一品一一法門一一方便一一法門。一一句中義味猶不能盡。

Moreover, the Avataṃsaka-sūtra says: 'Good sons, suppose a person were to use ink equal to the great ocean and pens gathered like Mount Sumeru to write out this scripture—chapter by chapter, Dharma door by Dharma door, expedient by expedient, Dharma door by Dharma door—the significance and flavor in even a single phrase could still not be exhausted.'
