高僧傳云。母懷羅什令母聰明。舊誦千偈。懷胎已日得二千偈。初成須陀洹果。後得斯陀含果。
The Gaoseng zhuan says: When Kumārajīva's mother was carrying him, it caused his mother to be intelligent. Formerly reciting a thousand verses, after becoming pregnant she could master two thousand verses a day. First she attained the fruit of a srotāpanna, and later attained the fruit of a sakṛdāgāmin.
