2.42

憶念餘生時　曾為人婢使
不盜不貪嗜　勤修不懈怠
量腹自節身　分餐救貧人
今見居宮殿　乘虛而遊行
天身如金聚　天女百中勝
觀察斯福德　供養中為最

"I remember that in a past life
I was once a maidservant to others,
Not stealing, not greedy or indulging desires,
Diligent and not indolent.
Measuring my stomach to regulate my body,
I shared my food to save the poor.
Now you see me dwelling in a palace,
Mounting the void and wandering about,
My heavenly body like a mass of gold,
Surpassing a hundred other heavenly maidens.
Observe this merit and virtue:
It is the supreme among offerings!"
