20.37

爾時佛告彌勒。若有正信善男子善女人。稱此十二佛名號之時。經於十日當修懺一切諸罪。一切眾生所有功德皆隨喜。勸請一切諸佛久住於世。以諸善根迴向法界。是時即得滅一切諸罪得淨一切業障。即得具足成就莊嚴一切佛土。具足無畏。具足身相。具足菩薩眷屬圍繞。具足無量三昧。具足如意佛剎莊嚴。行阿耨菩提而得端正可喜果報。爾時世尊而說偈言。

'At that time, the Buddha told Maitreya: "If there is a good man or good woman of correct faith who, when reciting the names of these twelve Buddhas, over the course of ten days cultivates repentance of all sins, rejoices in all the merits of all sentient beings, entreats all Buddhas to remain long in the world, and dedicates all roots of goodness to the dharmadhātu, at that time they will immediately eliminate all sins and purify all karmic obstacles. They will immediately become fully endowed with the adornment of all Buddha lands; fully endowed with fearlessness; fully endowed with physical marks; fully endowed with an entourage of bodhisattvas; fully endowed with immeasurable samādhis; fully endowed with the wish-fulfilling adornments of Buddha lands; and practicing anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi, they will attain upright and pleasing retribution." At that time, the World-Honoured One spoke a verse, saying:
