21.21

汝寧不聞如來所說四不可輕。王子蛇火沙彌等。如菴羅菓。內生外熟。外生內熟。莫妄稱量前人長短。一念之中亦可得道。於僧福田莫生分別。即說偈言。

Have you not heard of the four that cannot be belittled spoken by the Tathāgata: a prince, a snake, fire, and a novice monk? Just like an āmra fruit, raw inside and ripe outside, or raw outside and ripe inside, do not wrongly weigh the strengths and weaknesses of the person before you. In a single thought-moment one may also attain the Way. Do not generate discrimination toward the puṇyakṣetra of the saṃgha! Then they spoke a verse:
