如出生菩提心經云。爾時迦葉婆羅門白佛言。世尊。發菩提心者。應攝幾許福聚。爾時世尊以說偈言。

As the Bodhicittotpāda-sūtra says: 'At that time the brāhmaṇa Kāśyapa addressed the Buddha, saying: "World-Honoured One, how much accumulation of merit should be gathered by one who arouses the bodhicitta?" At that time the World-Honoured One spoke in verse, saying:
