21.42

封迷昏闇久　裴回夢裏藏
心塵既未洗　怖霑甘露漿
慈顏發暉曜　燭我見朝陽
忽逢善知友　開導益神光
稍寤心澄靜　方厭俗蒼茫
緇徒既肅肅　法侶亦鏘鏘
見者心歡喜　歸誠向道場
若存信邪倒　來苦未何殃

Enclosed in delusion and dark ignorance for so long, / Wandering and concealed within a dream. / With the dusts of mind not yet cleansed, / Fearful of receiving the sweet dew elixir. / The compassionate countenance radiates brightness, / Illuminating me to behold the morning sun. / Suddenly meeting a good spiritual friend, / Guidance enhances the spiritual light. / Gradually awakening, the mind becomes tranquil and clear; / Only then does one tire of worldly vastness. / The black-robed monks are indeed solemn and austere; / The Dharma companions are also resplendent. / Those who see them rejoice in their hearts, / Turning with sincere devotion toward the bodhimaṇḍa. / If one retains faith in perverse falsities, / What endless tribulations will future suffering bring?
