依度人經云。既著袈裟已禮佛行道。道俗從後繞三匝已。復自說偈生慶荷意云。

According to the Sūtra of Deliverance: "Having put on the kāṣāya, they pay homage to the Buddha and circumambulate. Monastics and laypeople follow behind, circumambulating three times. Then the ordinand recites a verse to express rejoicing and gratitude, saying:
