又四十二章經云。佛言。天下有五難。貧窮布施難。豪貴學道難。制命不死難。得覩佛經難。生值佛世難是也。

Furthermore, the Sūtra of Forty-two Chapters says: The Buddha said: 'Under heaven there are five difficult things: being poor and giving dāna is difficult; being noble and rich and learning the Way is difficult; controlling one's life so as not to die is difficult; getting to see the Buddha's sūtras is difficult; and being born encountering a Buddha's era is difficult.'
