佛告太子。由不貪人財。是故富樂。喜施不慳。是故不亡財物。心不嫉妬。是故生得尊高。
The Buddha told the prince: 'Because of not coveting other people's wealth, he is wealthy and joyful. Because he delights in giving and is not stingy, he does not lose wealth and property. Because his mind is not envious or jealous, he is born to noble and exalted status.'
