又涅槃經云。大乘為甘露。亦名為毒藥。能消即為甘露。不消即成毒藥。如人置毒乳中則能殺人。故寶性論偈云。

Furthermore, the Nirvāṇa Sūtra states: “The Great Vehicle is ambrosia, and it is also called poison. If one can digest it, it becomes ambrosia; if one cannot digest it, it becomes poison. Just as if a person puts poison into milk, it can kill someone.” Therefore, a verse in the Ratnagotravibhāga states:
