又智度論云。若悋惜法則常生邊地無佛法處。由悋法故障他慧明。此則不如賣法。他人反勝過此。

Furthermore, the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra says: If one is stingy with the Dharma, one will constantly be born in borderlands where there is no Buddhadharma. Because being stingy with the Dharma obstructs the luminous wisdom of others, this is inferior even to selling the Dharma, which other people, on the contrary, surpass.
