26.21

佛告大王。欲知彼國師子月佛者。今此會中婆須蜜多比丘是也。王聞此語。即起合掌遍體流汗。悲泣雨淚悔過自責。向婆須蜜多。頭面著地接足為禮懺悔前罪。

The Buddha told the great king: 'If you wish to know who that Siṃhacandra Buddha is, he is none other than the bhikṣu Vasumitra in this present assembly.' Hearing this, the king stood up, joined his palms, and broke out in sweat all over his body. Weeping tears of sorrow, he repented and reproached himself. Turning toward Vasumitra, he touched his head and face to the ground, touched his feet in obeisance, and repented his former transgressions.
