齊南海荊山有釋法獻。是廣州人。始居北寺。寺歲久彫衰。獻率化有緣更加治葺。改曰延祥。後入藏薇山創寺。寺成後有兩童子携手來歌云。

At Jingshan in Nanhai during the Qi dynasty there was Shi Faxian, a native of Guangzhou. At first he resided at the Northern Temple. As the temple had become dilapidated with age, Faxian led and inspired those with karmic affinity to renovate it, changing its name to Yanxiang. Later, he entered Mount Cangwei and founded a temple.
