王聞長跪心即歡喜。今受佛恩令得安隱。作禮還歸。重賜宮臣。從今已後不信諸異外道及婆羅門。

Upon hearing this, the king knelt on both knees and rejoiced in his heart. Having now received the Buddha's grace and attained peace, he paid homage and returned. He bestowed lavish gifts upon his palace officials, and from that time onward he had no faith in the various heterodox non-Buddhists and brāhmaṇas.
