第二十三願。使某作佛時。令我國中諸菩薩阿羅漢。皆智慧勇猛頂中皆有光明。得是願乃作佛。不得是願終不作佛。
"Twenty-third vow: May it be that when I become a Buddha, the bodhisattvas and arhats in my land shall all possess brave and fierce wisdom, and on the crown of their heads shall all possess light. If I obtain this vow, only then will I become a Buddha; if I do not obtain this vow, I will never become a Buddha."
