又文殊問經云。爾時文殊師利白佛言。世尊。諸供養餘華用治眾病。其法云何。佛告文殊。華各別祝一百八遍。

Furthermore, the Mañjuśrīparipṛcchā-sūtra states: At that time, Mañjuśrī addressed the Buddha, saying: 'World-Honoured One, how should the remaining flowers from offerings be used according to rule to cure various diseases?' The Buddha told Mañjuśrī: 'Chant incantations over each flower individually one hundred and eight times.'
