夫因事寤理必藉相以導真。瞻仰聖容敬神幡以薦奉。是以育王創遺身之塔。架逈浮空。魏主起通天之臺。仁祠切漢。於是華幡飄颺冀騰翥於大千。珠紫相映吐輝煥於百億。慧風或動清昇之業有徵。微吹時來輪王之報無盡也。

Now, awakening to the principle through phenomena necessarily relies on marks to guide toward the true. Gazing up at the sacred countenance, one reveres the spirit banners to present offerings. Therefore King Aśoka initiated stūpas for the relinquished bodily remains, soaring high and floating in the void; the Wei emperor raised the Platform that Penetrates Heaven, its benevolent shrine piercing the Milky Way. Thereupon flower banners flutter, hoping to soar across the great chiliocosm; pearls and purple reflect each other, emitting radiance over hundreds of millions [of worlds]. When the wind of wisdom stirs, the karmic deed of pure ascension finds its proof; when gentle breezes arrive, the retribution of a cakravartin is inexhaustible.
