益州晉源塔者。在州西南一百餘里。今號為等泉寺。本名大石。其基本緣略亦同前。尋諸古塔其相不同。豈非當部鬼神情有所樂。案蜀三塔同一石。蓋餘不定准也。

As for the Jinyuan pagoda in Yizhou, it is located over a hundred li southwest of the prefecture, and is now called Dengquan Temple. It was originally named "Great Stone." Its foundational origins are roughly the same as the previous one. Examining ancient pagodas, their appearances are different: might it not be because the spirits of each respective quarter took delight in different things? According to records, the three pagodas of Shu share one and the same stone; other pagodas cannot be judged by any fixed standard.
