唐貞觀十八年十月丙申後。汾州并州文水縣兩界天大雷震。空中雲內落一石下。大如雉觜。脊高腹平。其文水縣丞張孝靜共汾州官同奏。當時西域摩伽陀菩提寺長年師來到西京。內外博知。

After the bingzhen day in the tenth month of the eighteenth year of the Zhenguan reign of the Tang dynasty (644 CE), there was a great thunderstorm in the skies bordering Fenzhou and Wenshui County in Bingzhou. A stone fell from the clouds in the sky, about the size of a pheasant's beak, high on its ridge and flat on its belly. Zhang Xiaojing, assistant magistrate of Wenshui County, joined the officials of Fenzhou in presenting a memorial.
