仁壽二年正月二十三日。復分布五十三州建立靈塔。令總管刺史已下縣尉以上廢常務七日。請僧行道教化打剎。施錢十文。一如前式。期用四月八日午時。合國化內同下舍利封入石函。所感瑞應者。別錄如左。

On the twenty-third day of the first month in the second year of Renshou, [śarīra] were again distributed to fifty-three prefectures to erect spiritual pagodas. Area commanders and prefectural governors on down to county commandants and above were ordered to suspend their regular duties for seven days, invite monks to practice the Way and transform the populace, strike the temple bells, and donate ten coins, all following the previous protocol. The appointed time was the hour of noon on the eighth day of the fourth month, when the entire country within the realm was simultaneously to inter the śarīra and seal them into stone caskets.
