又梵網經云。若有檀越來請眾僧。客僧有利養分。僧房主應次第差客僧受請。而先住僧獨受請而不差客僧。房主得無量罪。畜生無異。非沙門非釋種姓。犯輕垢罪。

Also, the Brahmajāla Sūtra says: 'If a dānapati comes to invite the assembly of monks, visiting monks are entitled to a share of the offerings. The master of the monastic quarters should dispatch the visiting monks in sequence to accept the invitation; yet if the resident monks alone accept the invitation without dispatching the visiting monks, the master of the quarters incurs immeasurable sin, being no different from an animal, neither a śramaṇa nor of the Śākya clan, committing an infraction of light defilement.'
