又舍利弗問經云。佛言。外道梵志尚知受食取。況我弟子而不受食。但一切諸物不得不受。唯除生寶及施女人。若作法者猶應授與體上之衣。若貯金器受則制施。

Furthermore, the Śāriputraparipṛcchā-sūtra states: "The Buddha said: 'Even non-Buddhist brahmans know to take food only after receiving it, how much more so should my disciples not eat without receiving it! Indeed, all things must be formally received, except raw treasures and what is given to women. If performing a ritual, one should still bestow the robes upon one's body. If someone stores gold vessels, receiving them is forbidden from being accepted as gifts.'"
